On people who click your links: none

Following a Brevily short link sets no cookie. We count a click, we record the country, device, browser family and referrer, and we send the visitor on. There is no cross-site identifier, no advertising pixel of ours, and nothing that follows anyone to the next site.

This is a deliberate design choice, and it is why using Brevily does not, by itself, require you to add a consent banner. The destination you send people to is a separate question, and that one is yours.

If you enable retargeting pixels on a link — a feature of the higher plans — then the platform you configure sets its own cookie on the interstitial, under its own terms, and you become responsible for the consent that requires. We do not enable it for you.

On this website: none. In the console: three

All three are strictly necessary: without them you cannot sign in or stay signed in, so they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules. All three are HttpOnly where the browser does not need to read them, and marked Secure in production.

We also store your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. That never leaves your device and is not a cookie.

What we do not use

No analytics cookie. No advertising network. No session recording, heatmaps or third-party tag manager on this site.

Managing them

Your browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking the three above will stop the console from working; the marketing site and every redirect will carry on as normal.
